About CRCVB
Founded on February 28, 2000, theCampinas and Region Convention & Visitors Bureau has been strengthening and stimulating the growth of Business Tourism in the region, with very positive results recognized by the entire tourist trade, authorities and media.
As a result of this action, the number of members has grown exponentially in recent years. From a shy beginning with 45 founding participants, CRC&VB currently has more than 120 members from various sectors of activity, such as hotels, commercial aviation, event spaces, car rental companies, event organizers, entertainment, bars and restaurants, shopping malls, etc.
The main objective of the Convention Bureau is to contribute to the economic and social development of the region by increasing the flow of visitors. Attracting events and encouraging Business Tourism are also essential objectives and help to generate employment and income. Furthermore, the CVB is responsible for promoting business among members, promoting relationship marketing that can result in the identification of opportunities for everyone.
To promote the region's tourist attractions, CRC&VB, in partnership with its members, participates in the main fairs and exhibitions of the tourist trade, presenting itself with cooperative stands of great impact.
CRC&VB Works for the Development of the Region
Work for the tourist development, in general, of the city of Campinas and the region;
Capture and generate events of all types, increasing the flow of visitors in the region (congresses, conventions, exhibitions, fairs, cultural, sporting, technological and similar events, at a regional, state, national and international level.)
Provide support and encouragement for the promotion and holding of events, in general, that already exist or are to be created in Campinas and the region – regional festivals, rodeos, tournaments, exhibitions, etc.
Spread ideas, cultural values, traditions and social habits of the regional community;
Collaborate with public institutions and government authorities, whenever possible, in the areas of education, culture, sports, leisure and social well-being;
Generate and maintain technical and cultural exchanges with similar entities, public and private, at regional, national and international levels;
Promote educational activities, courses, training and improvement of human resources, aiming at qualification for the tourism and events sector, as well as developing in the population of the Campinas region a culture focused on providing the best possible service to leisure and business visitors, and encouraging contributions in different ways to the development of tourism in the cities that make up the region;
Sign agreements, exchanges and exchanges, with public or private institutions, aiming to facilitate socio-cultural projects and events, focused on tourism;
Encourage and sponsor research in the fields of art, sports, culture and leisure, aiming at the development of tourism and events in Campinas and the region;
Promote and disseminate, as intensely as possible, tourist products from Campinas and the region, at a regional, national and international level.
